100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from 3 vineyards between Calistoga and St. Helena. 80% of the fruit is from the valley floor with the balance coming from the mountain tops. Intentionally made in the style of Napa Cabs from the 70’s and 80’s.
Tasting Notes
Brambly raspberries permeate the nose with undercurrents of cedar, tobacco and bay. Vibrant acidity and an ashy volcanic quality make this far from being a brooding behemoth.
